Camping and Picnic AreasYou'll find plenty of scenic spots, with barbecue and toilet facilities, to picninc or camp in Blue Mountains National Park. 
From Woodford it's a short 5 kilometre drive or bike ride down the Murphys Fire Trail to Murphys Glen, where you'll find a pleasant picnic spot and a secluded camping area in a diatreme or volcanic neck. Surrounded by a forest of tall eucalypts, turpentines and angophoras. A few steep sections and a short walk through rainforest takes you to Bedford Creek.
Many of the great walking tracks around Wentworth Falls start from the Wentworth Falls picnic area on Sir Henry Burrell Drive.
 Ingar Camping Ground (9 sites) This camping ground is set among scribbly gums. The dam on Ingar Creek is suitable for paddling and swimming, and you can also walk or ride your mountain bike to Bedford Creek, via Murphy's Fire Trail. The campground is not suitable for caravans or large campervans
 Perry's Lookout Campground (5 sites) This camping area is located in Blackheath, two towns further up the mountain from Katoomba. You'll be pitching your tent on prime real estate here, beside one of the mountains' best lookouts.
 Euroka Campground Glenbrook (5 sites) Euroka is a diatreme or volcanic neck. It includes pockets of native shrubs and trees interspersed with grassy areas with easy walks to the Nepean River. This grassy area near the beautiful Nepean River gorge is well known for its population of eastern grey kangaroos. There are five camping areas: Appletree Flat, Redgum, Nioka, Bennets Ridge and Daruk. Each area is suitable for 20 people. Bookings are essential.
